As written on the School of Built Environment – Massey University Linkedin page:
“On 2 October, guest speaker, Prof (Adj) Kim Lovegrove MSE RML of Lovegrove and Cotton Melbourne, kindly presented in the Round Room on “The Importance of Construction Law for Building Professionals” to SBE students.
Our staff Dr Gregory Chawynski commented: “The topic is very topical and relevant to the New Zealand construction industry with a couple of case studies from an Australian perspective. Kim’s introduction included an update on the International Building Quality Centre (IBQC) of which SBE is a partner and some great stories about his early years growing up in Africa and New Zealand before moving across to Australia.“
Construction Society President Maggie Hu presented Kim (seen pictured below between Greg and Hennie) with an SBE pen and thanked him for his time.“
Dr Chawynski also thanked Kim by adding: “A brilliant presentation! A big thanks to Kim on a sterling delivery”
